VIEWING SLIDE SHOWS USING A MODEM

If you connect to the internet using a 56k modem, you can preview the slide shows "streaming" in real time, however you may experience quality problems that people with faster connections will not have. Modem users may see the presentation freeze occasionally, audio drop out, or notice that some of the pictures are missing content. This is unavoidable when internet traffic is heavy, particularly when many people are connected to your service provider at the same time. Also, as a result of modem speed limitations, you will see smaller photographs than viewers who have a higher speed connection to the internet.

If you experience problems, you may want to try again at another time when traffic is lighter. A better option is to download each entire slideshow and run it from your computer, rather than over the internet. If you have an older 28k or slower modem you will need to download rather than preview it anyway. An option for doing this is presented along with each selection.

Another advantage of using the downloaded versions is that all have the larger sized photographic images and the quality is better.
