A California woman is sponsoring a petition asking that Secretary of the Interior Gale Norton resign. Norton has provided false and misleading information to the Congress about how wildlife will be affected by oil drilling.

Children to Help Save the Refuge

An Alaskan author of nature books, a mother in Washington and a teacher in Maine have joined together in an effort to protect the Arctic Refuge through the voices and artwork of children. They are inviting teachers and schools to join their effort.

Green Ribbon Pledge

A coalition of environmental groups have created the Green Ribbon Pledge "to conserve energy for a secure future". By taking the pledge and wearing the ribbon you can voice your committment to energy conservation that will save much more energy than we'd ever get out of the Arctic, and help spread the word. It will also tell you what your annual energy savings will be.
