SLIDE
SHOWS - TROUBLESHOOTING
If
you experience one or more of the following quality problems:
Slides
or sound stops part way through
Gets stuck on one slide (slides should change approx every 15
seconds)
Sound becomes distorted
Parts of some pictures seem to be missing
Lyrics and sound are not synchronized
Internet
traffic may be too heavy, or if you are using a modem, too many
people may be accessing your Internet Service Provider. Either
try again when traffic is lighter, or download the slide show
and run it from your computer.
Generally
speaking, we recommend you download if you experience quality
problems - you can be assured of good quality that way and you
can then play the slide show any time you want, without being
connected to the internet.
Slide
Color is distorted
Your
computer may be set to display too few colors. Click
Here for instructions on how to fix this.
A
new window opens but nothing happens. Slide show never starts.
First
either look at the bottom of that window (the window should be
black), or if you have a scroll bar, scroll to the bottom. You
should see a green status bar. If it is telling you it is buffering
but nothing ever happens, it means your connection to the internet
is too slow - it can't keep up. Download the slideshow instead.
If
there is no status bar or you see a broken symbol, RealPlayer
is either not installed or may not be functioning correctly on
your computer. We suggest you reinstall RealPlayer. If it is already
installed, it is best to first uninstall it, and then reinstall
it. Click Here for installation instructions.
Can't
hear any sound.
Make
sure your computer sound card is functioning properly and the
volume is turned up to a comfortable listening level. Windows
users should be able to double click on the speaker icon in the
system tray (lower right portion of the screen) to adjust sound
volume.
